Reads the subreddit's written rules and your own Reddit account before you post, then scores the risk with every reason listed and sourced.
PostGuard tells you what is likely to get your post removed β before you press the button, not days later when nobody has replied. It never posts for you. It does not vote, comment, follow or message, and it does not type into the page. You write, you decide, you press the button. WHY INSTALL IT Communities remove posts quietly. Automated filters drop them without a notice, and their configuration is private to the moderators β nobody outside that team can read it. What anyone can read is everything else: the published rules, the thresholds they set, and the state of your own account. Most removals come down to one of those, and every one of them is checkable before you post. WHAT YOU CAN DO π‘οΈ See the risk before you post β Open a community's submit page and the side panel scores your draft from 0 to 100, with every reason listed and labelled by its source: the community's own rules (karma minimums, account age, outside links, required flair, title tags, self-promotion limits), whether it accepts AI-written content, your karma, account age and email verification, and how often you have already posted there and how much of that was promotional. β οΈ Catch the shapes automated filters react to β Those thresholds are often never written down anywhere. The panel warns you when your account is only days old, when your karma sits below what most automated setups ask for, when a link has been shortened, and when a draft carries a wall of outbound links β the combinations that get dropped whatever the written rules say. π Have AI read your draft against each rule β Optional, 1 credit per review. It checks the draft against every numbered rule of that community and points out the lines that read as machine-written. Its findings join the same risk score instead of producing a second, conflicting one, and any edit to the draft marks the review as out of date. π See the account numbers those thresholds are checked against β Karma, account age, email verification and your promotional share over the last 30 days, read from your own session and never uploaded. βοΈ Draft a reply that still says what you mean β You write one line about what you want to say; the AI only rewords it and is not allowed to add experiences, numbers or products you never mentioned. Length follows the typical comment in that community. You get three versions with a copy button, and in communities whose rules ban AI-written content the feature switches itself off. PRIVATE BY DESIGN β’ Reads only what your own signed-in session can already see, at most one background request per second β’ Sends no anonymous or logged-out request to the site at all β’ Never asks for your password and never uses a developer API β’ Two browser permissions in total: side panel and storage β’ Your drafts, the rules it reads and your posting history stay in your browser β’ AI runs only when you press its button, and the text sent for that one request is neither stored nor logged PRICING The risk checks and the account panel need no account and no payment. Signing up on the PostGuard site gives you 30 credits for the AI features. Pro ($9/month or $59/year) includes 2,000 credits per billing period β about 1,000 reply drafts or 2,000 rule reviews. GREAT FOR Founders, indie makers, marketers and community members who post in rule-heavy communities and cannot afford to lose a launch post to a filter they never saw. WHAT'S NEW 1.0.1 β Warns about days-old accounts, low karma and shortened links; a check that could not finish is no longer shown as low risk; post monitoring removed, and permissions cut to two. A risk score is an estimate, not a promise: automated moderation settings are private, so PostGuard also lists what it could not verify. Available in 13 interface languages. PostGuard is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the company that operates the site it supports.
